New Zealand vs Australia 1st ODI Match


After completing their T20 series, 5 match ODI series started today March 3rd between New Zealand and Australia. 1st ODI match held today 3rd March at McLean Park, Napier and it was a Day Night Match. Australia won the toss and decided to bat first.

Australia's Squad:
S Watson, B Haddin, R Ponting, M Clarke, C White, M Hussey, J Hopes, M Johnson, N Hauritz, R Harris and D Bollinger.

New Zealand's Squad:
B McCullum, P Ingram, M Guptil, R Taylor, J Franklin, N Broom, S Styris, D Tuffey, T Southee, S Bond and J Oram.

Match Result:
New Zealand won the match by 2 wickets at 49.2 overs. R Taylor was named as the player of the match for his 70 runs off 71 balls with 6-4's & 1-6. Leading the 5 match ODI series as 1-0.

New Zealand vs Australia Tour Fixtures


Australia after their continuous  home series, they are now in tour of New Zealand and scheduled to play 2 T20's, 5 ODI matches and 2 Test Matches.

They had already completed their T20 series as 1-1. Following that they will be playing 5 match ODI series and 2 Match Test series.

1st ODI Day Night match on 3rd March Wednesday at McLean Park, Napier.

Bangladesh vs England 2nd ODI, 2nd March



England after completing their tour against Pakistan in Dubai, they are currently in tour of Bangladesh. England will be playing 3 ODI matches and 2 Test Matches. England had already won their 1st ODI and leading the series 1-0.

The 2nd ODI between Bangladesh and England held today 2nd March at Mirpur. England won the toss and invited the home team Bangladesh to bat first.

Bangladesh's Squad:
Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Aftab Ahmed, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Naeem Islam, Suhrawadi Shuvo, Abdur Razzak, Shafiul Islam and Rubel Hossain.

India vs South Africa 3rd ODI Match


The 3rd and the last match of the ODI series between India and South Africa held today Feb 27th at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad. Already India leading the series 2-0 and won the series.

South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first.

South Africa's Squad:
L Bosman, H Amla, J Kallis, AB de Villers, H Gibbs, M Boucher, J Botha, RE van der Merwe, D Steyn, M Morkel and L Tsotsobe.

India's Squad:

Match Result:
South Africa won the match by 90 runs and AB de Villers was named as the player of the match for his 102 runs from 59 balls with 11-4's & 3-6's.

Series Result:
India won the series as 2-1. Sachin Tendulkar was named as the player of the series.

New Zealand vs Australia 1st T20 Match


Australia after completing their T20 series against West Indies they are now tour on New Zealand and the both teams are scheduled to play 2 match T20 series.

The 1st T20 match held today Feb 26th at Wellington. New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat first.

India vs South Africa 2nd ODI Match


The 2nd ODI between India and South Africa held today Feb 24th in Captain Roop Singh Stadium, Gwalior.

India won the toss and decided to bat first.

India's Squad:

South Africa's Squad:

Match Result:
India won the match by 153 runs. Sachin Tendulakar was named as the player of the match for 200* not out which came at just 147 balls with 25-4's and 3-6's. Through which he became the first man to reach 200 runs in One Day Internationals.

The Little Master added another feather to his cap. Yes Scahin had became first person to score double century in One Day Internationals.

In the 2nd ODI match of the 3 match series between India and South Africa which was played today Feb 24th at Captain Roop Singh Stadium, Gwalior. Sachin scored his 200 runs in just 147 balls which includes 24- fours and 3- sixes at the strike rate of 136.05.

India vs South Africa 1st ODI Match


After completing the test series both the team had scheduled to play ODI series which consist of 3 matches.

The 1st ODI match was played today 21st Feb at Jaipur.
South Africa won the toss and invited the home side India to bat first.

India's Squad:
V Sehwag, S Tendulkar, D Karthik, MS Dhoni, V Kohli, S Raina, Y Pathan, R Jadeja, P Kumar, A Nehra and S Sreesanth.

South Africa's Squad:
L Bosman, H Gibbs, J Kallis, AB de Villers, A Petersen, A morkel, M Boucher, J Botha, W Parnell, D steyn and C Langeveldt.

Match Result:
India won the thriller match at the last ball of the innings by just 1 run. R Jadeja was named as the player of the match for his 2 wickets in 10 overs with just 29 runs.

Match Summary:
India started their innings with V Sehwag and S Tendulkar, all Indian batsmen gave a good start to their innings but none of them converted it to a big score. At the end of 50 overs India managed to score 298 runs by losing 9 wickets. For India S Raina scored 58 runs, V Sehwag scored 46 runs and D Karthik scored 44 runs. For South Africa J Kallis picked 3 wickets and W Parnell, C Langeveldt & A Morkel each picked 1 wicket.

With the target of 299 South Africa started their innings with L Bosman and H Gibbs. South African Batsmen palyed to di their job except J Kallis who scored 89 runs. There was no real partnership between them. Their tail ends W Parnell D Styen paired up and added 65 runs in their patnership. But at the end South Africa lost their match by just 1 run. For South Africa J Kallis scores 89 runs, W Parnell 49 runs and D Steyn 35 runs. For India P Kumar, S Sreesanth & R Jadeja each picked 2 wickets and A Nehra & Y Pathan each picked 1 wicket.

Match Result:
Australia won the match by 38 runs and lead the 2 match series as 1-0. S Tait was named as the player of the match for his 3 wickets.

Match Summary:
Australia started their innings with S Watson and D Warner. The opener played well and added 83 runs in 47 balls. In the whole Australian batsman's came well with their bat and in the end of 20 overs Australia managed to score 179 runs by losing 8 wickets. For Australia D Warner scored 49 runs, B Haddin 37* runsand S Watson 37 runs. For West Indies N Miller, D Smith & C Gayle each picked 2 wickets and D Sammy & K Pollard each picked 1 wicket.

With the target of 180 West Indies started their innings with C Gayle and L Simmons. But West Indies batsman's failed to do their job except R Morton and D Ramdin. At the end of 20 overs West Indies failed to reach their target of 180 runs and managed to score just 141 runs by losing 8 wickets and lost the match by 38 runs. For West Indies D Ramdin scored 44 runs, R Morton 40 runs and K Pollard 12 runs. For Australia D Nannes & S Tait rach picked 3 wickets and M Johnson picked 2 wickets.

The 2nd Twenty20 will be played on Feb 23rd at Sydney.

Pakistan vs England 2nd Twenty20



The 2nd Twenty20 between Pakistan and England was played yesterday Feb 20th at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan won the toss and invited England to bat first.

England's Squad:
I Trott, J Denly, K Petersen, P Collingwood, E Morgan, L Wright, M Prior, T Bresnan, S Board, G Swann and A Shahzad.

Pakistan's Squad:
Imran Nazir, Imran Farhat, Umar Akmal, Shoaib Malik, Shahid Afridi, Fawad Alam, Abdul Razzaq, Sarfraz Ahmed, Yasir Arafat, Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal.

Match Result:
Pakistan won the 2nd Twenty20 match by 4 wickets at 19 overs. Abudal Razzaq wasamed as the player of the match for his 46* runs in 18 balls with 5-6's which made pakistan to win the match.

Series Result:
2 match Twenty20 series ended up in draw as 1-1. G Swann of England was named as the player of the series for his 5 wickets (2 in 1st T20 & 3 wivkets in 2nd T20).

Match Summary:
England started their innings with J Tortt and J Denny. They lost their 1st wicket Denny in 3.5 overs. Then Pietersen and Troot paired up and added 98 runs in their partnership. At the end of innings England managed to score 148 runs by losing 6 wickets. For England Pietersen scored 62 runs, Trott 39 runs and Collingwood 11* runs. For Pakistan Yasir Arefat picked 3 wickets and Saeed Ajmal & Umar Gul each picked 1 wicket.

With the target of 149 Pakistan started their innings with Imran Nasir and Imran Farhat but A Shahzad striked Pakistanis twice in his tirst 1 overs to bring two wicket down. They lost their openers in 0.5 overs and went 4/2. A one stage Pakistan were 78/5 in 12.6 over and were in need of 71 runs in 42 balls. Then comes Abdul Razzaq who showed his brilliant batting performance by scoring 46 runs in just 18 balls with 5-6's which maded possible for Pakistan to win the match. For Pakistan Abdul Razzaq scored 46* runs, Umar Akmal 36 runs and Fawad Alam 28 runs. For England G Swann picked 3 wickets, A Shahzad picked 2 wickets and S Board 1 wicket.

Pakistan vs England 1st Twenty20



Pakistan and England are scheduled to play  Twenty20 series in Dubai. They are scheduled to plat 2 Twenty20 match.

1st Twenty20 on 19th Feb Friday in Dubai International Cricket Stadium
2nd Twenty20 on 20th Feb Saturday in Dubai International Cricket Stadium

As per the schedule yesterday Feb 19th 1st Twenty20 match was played between them in Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first.

Imran Nazir, Imran Farhat, Khalid Latif, Umar Akmal, Shoaib Malik,Fawad Alam, Abdul Razzaq, Sarfraz Ahmed, Yasir Arafat, Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal.

Match Result:
England won the match by 7 wickets at 18.3 overs and E Morgan was named as the player of the match for his 67 runs in 51 balls with 7-4's & 2-6's.

Match Summary:
Pakistan started their innings with Imran Nazir and Imran Farhat, but the openers failed to do their job. Middle order batsmens Shoaib Malik, Fawad Alam and Abdul Razzaq played a sensible cricket.Pakistan managed to score only 129 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. For Pakistan Shoaib Malik scored 33 runs, Fawad Alam scored 23 runs and Abdul Razzaq scored 22 runs. For England T Bresnan, S Board & G Swann each took 2 wickets and K Wright 1 wicket.

With the target of 130 runs England started their innings with J Trott and J Denly, but at one stage England went 3 wickets down for just 18 runs at 4.2 overs. Then K Pietersen and E Morgan played a brilliant innings and leaded their team to victory. They both scored 112 runs in their partnership. At 18.3 overs England reached their target and won the match by 7 wickets. For England E Morgan scored 67 runs, K Pietersen 43 runs and J Trott 4 runs. For Pakistan Abdul Razzaq and Yasir Arafat each took 1 wicket.

New Zealand vs Bangladesh Test Match Day 5



At stumps of Day 4 Bangladesh were 88/5 in 30 overs with Shakib Al Hasan with 0* and Mushfiqur Rahim 10*. New Zealand were in need of just 5 wickets to win the test match and give a clean sweap.

Match Result:
New Zealand won the test match by 121 runs. Martin Guptil was named as the player of the match for his 245 runs (189 & 56*).

Day 5 Plays's summary:
Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim added 119 runs in their partnership. Bangladesh reached 100 in 33.4 overs and 150 runs in 43.1 overs. Then they lost their 6th wicket Mushfiqur Rahim with 22 runs at 44.1 overs and went 157/6.  At drinks break Bangladesh were 168/6 in 48 overs with Shakib Al Hasan 58* and Mahmudullah 5*.

After drinks Bangladesh reached the mark of 200 runs in 53.3 overs and 250 runs in 68.6 overs. Then lost their 7th wicket Muhmadullah with 42 runs at 60.4 overs and went 225/7. At lunch break Bangladesh were 250/7 in 69 overs with Shakib Al Hasan 98* and Shahadat Hossain 0*. After lunch break Banhladesh added 32 runs to their board and lost their last 3 wickets. 8th wicket was their Skipper who got his century off 127 balls with 15-4's & 3-6's, he went out at 69.5 overs and Bangladesh were 252/8. Their 9th wicket was Shafiul Islam with 13 runs at 75.5 overs and went 282/9 and in the very next ball Bangladesh lost their last wicket Rubel Hossain who went out without adding any runs. 


At end of the play Bangladesh were 282. For New Zealand T Southee picked 3 wickets, D Vettori & J Patel each picked 2 wickets and C Martin & D Tuffey each picke 1 wicket.

India vs South Africa 2nd Test Match Day 5



At stumps of Day 4 South Africa were 115/3 with H Amla 49* & A Prince0* in 35 overs and still trailing by 232 runs in the 2nd innings. Were India in need of 7 more wickets to get a innings victory.

Match Result:
India won the 2nd Test Match by an innings and 57 runs. H Amla was named as the player of the match for his 237 runs( 114 & 123*)

Series Result:
2 Test Match series end up in draw as 1-1 and H Amla was named as the player of the series for his 490 runs. 253* in 1st test match and 237 runs in 2nd test match(114 & 123*).

Day 5 Play's Summary:
H Amla and A Prince resumed their 2nd innings play on Day 5. H Amla reached his half century mark on 90 balss with 7-4's. At drinks break South Africa were 133/3 in 48 overs with H Amla 56* and A Prince 10*. After drinks South Africa reached his 150 runs mark in 54.1 overs. Then again at drinks break South Africa were 157/3 in 60 overs with H Amla 66* and A Prince 23*.

After drinks just 10 overs were bowled before lunch break, in that 10 overs India managed to pick 2 wickets, South Africa lost their 4th wicket A Prince with 23 runs at 61.4 overs and went 158/4, then their 5th wicket was AB de Villers with just 3 runs at 68.1 overs and SA went 164/5. Then at lunch break South Africa stayed 164/5 in 70 overs with H Amla 68* and JP Duminy 0*.  After lunch they lost their 6th wicket JP Duminy with 6 runs at 73.6 overs and went 172/6. After adding just 8 runs to their score board South Africa lost their 7th wicket D Steyn with 1 run at 77.6 overs and went 180/7. 

At drinks break South Africa were 196/7 in 86 overs with H Amla 75* & W Parnell 10*. After coming from drinks break South Africa reached the mark of 200 runs in 86.6 overs. Then H Amla reached his century off 268 balls with 13-4's. H Amla and W Parnell paired up and played a fine innings by adding 70 runs in their partnership. For South Africa 250 runs came at 98.2 overs. At tea break South Africa were 250/7 in 99 overs with H Amla 106* & W Parnell 22*. At 102.2 overs South Africa lost their 8th wicket W Parnell with 22 runs and went 250/8. After adding 16 more runs they lost another wicket 9th P Harris with 4 runs at 110.5 overs and went 264/9. 

At drinks break South Africa were 269/9 in 118 overs with H Amla 116* and M Morkel 4*. The pair added 26 runs in their partnership and at 131.3 overs South Africa lost their last wicket M Morkel with 12 runs and lost the 2nd Test Match by an innings and 57 runs. H Amla remained unbeaten with 123* runs. For India Harbhajan Singh picked 5 wickets, A Mishra 3 wickets and I Shrama 2 wickets.

New Zealand vs Bangladesh Test Match Day 4



At the stumps of Day 3's play New Zealand were 9/1 in 5 overs with T McIntosh 5* & P Ingram 2* and leading the 2nd innings by 157 runs. 

Day 4 Play's Summary:
T McIntosh and P Ingram resumed their 2nd innings on day 4's play. New Zealand reached the mark of 50 runs at 19.6 overs. Then at 21.5 overs New Zealand lost their 2nd wicket P Ingram with 13 runs and went 52/2. At drinks break New Zealand were 58/2 in 24 overs with T McIntosh 34* and R Taylor 3*. Then 100 runs came for New Zealand at 37.5 overs and in the partnership of McIntosh and Taylor 50 runs came in 96 balls. At lunch break New Zealand were 116/2 in 40 overs with McIntosh 49* and Taylor 45*.

After lunch break McIntosh reached his half century off 114 balls with 6-4's and Taylor too reached his half century mark off just 67 balls with 6-4's. At 41.4 overs New Zealand lost their 3rd wicket R Taylor with 51 runs and went 124/3. Then they reached the mark off 150 runs in 48.5 overs. At drinks break New Zealand were 170/3 in 54 overs with McIntosh 76* and M Guptill 17*. Then 50 runs of partnership came between McIntosh and Guptill of 85 balls. 

Then at 58.3 overs New Zealand lost their 4th wicket McIntosh with 89 runs off 164 balls with 6-4's & 3-6's and went 196/4. Then New Zealand reached the mark off 200 runs in 60.1 overs. They lost their 5th wicket D Vettori with 13 runs at 65.4 overs and went 227/5. At tea break New Zealand were 228/5 in 67 overs with Guptill 49* & McCullum 0*. After tea Guptill reached his half century off 75 balls. At 71 overs when New Zealand were 258/5, they decided to declare their 2nd innings with M Guptill 56* and McCullum 18* remained unbeaten. For Bangladesh Mahmudullah picked 2 wickets.

With the target of 404 runs Bangladesh started their 2nd innings with Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes. At 5.4 overs Bangladesh lost their 1st wicket Tamim Iqbal with 30 runs and went 35/1. Then they reached the mark of 50 runs at 7.4 overs. Then they lost their 2nd wicket Junaid Siddique with 8 runs at 8.2 overs and went 51/2. At drinks break New Zealand were 65/2 in 15 overs with Imrul Kayes 20* and Aftab Ahmed 7*.Then thier 3rd wicket was Aftab Ahmed with 8 runs at 19.3 overs and went 72/3. Then Bangladesh lost their 2 crucial wickets immediately. Their 4th wicket was Mohammad Ashraful with 2 runs at 21.5 overs and went 78/4. In the very next over Bangladesh lost their 5th wicket Imrul Kayes with 29 runs at 22.2 overs and went 78/5. For New Zealand D Vettori picked 2 wickets, C Martin & J Patel each took 1 wicket.
At the stumps of Day 4 Bangladesh were 88/5 in 30 overs with Shakib Al Hasan 0* and Mushfiqur Rahim with 10* and still in need of 316 runs to win the match. On the other side New Zealand were in need of 5 wickets to make a clean sweep in this series.

India vs South Africa 2nd Test Match Day 4



At stumps of day 3 South Africa were 6/0 in0.5 overs with G Smith 5* and A Petersen 1* and trailing by 341 runs. India are in must win situation to remain as No 1 team in Test Cricket. 

Day 4 Play's Summary:
Today morning the play got delayed due to rain and wet ground. After resuming the play South stated with Smith and Petersen. At 12.1 overs South Africa lost their 1st wicket skipper G Smith with 20 runs( 2-4's) and went 36/1. At lunch break South Africa were 39/1 in 14 overs with A Petersen 17* and H Amla 2*. After lunch South Africa reached the mark of 50 runs in 16.5 overs.  Then they lost their 2nd wicket Petersen with 21 runs (2-4's) at 17.2 overs and South Africa went 54/2. At drinks break South Africa were 98/2 in 29 overs with H Amla 38* and J Kallis 14*.

After drinks South Africa reached the mark of 100 runs in 30.2 overs. And 50 runs of partnership came between H Amla and J Kallis contributing 35 and 14 runs respectively. At 33.2 overs South Africa lost their 3rd wicket J Kallis with 20 runs(3-4's) and went 111/3. After bowling three balls umpires decided to suspend the play due to bad light when South Africa were 111/3 in 34 overs. Then rain interrupted the play and after long time play started but for only 1 over and again game was suspended due to bad light when South Africa were 115/3 in 35 overs. The weather condition remained the same till the end of day 4's play. For India A Mishra picked 2 wickets and Harbhajan 1 wicket.

New Zealand vs Bangladesh Test Match Day - 3



At stumps of Day 2 Bangladesh were 87/1 in 17 overs with Tamim Iqbal 56* & Junaid Siddque 3*and trailing by 466 runs.

Day 3 Play's Summary:
New Zealand bowlers came well with their bowling attack and at one stage Bangladesh went 196/6. Then the skipper Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah paired up and rescued Bangladesh from follow on. Bangladesh lost their 2nd wicket Tamim Iqbal with 68 runs(11-4's) at 25.4 overs and went 118/2. 3rd wicket was Junaid Siddique with 21 runs(4-4's) at 28.5 overs and Bangladesh went 132/3. 

Then lost their 4th wicket Mohammad Ashraful with 12 runs(2-4's) at 38.4 overs and went 162/4. Their 5th wicket was Aftab Ahmed with 33 runs(5-4's) when Bangladesh were 179/5. Then lost Mushfiqur Rahim 6th wicket with 7 runs(1-4) and Bangladesh went 196/6 in 47.2 overs. Then Shakib Al Hasan and Muhamudullah paired up to rescue Bangladesh from follow on. They both added 145 runs in their partnership and at 86.2 overs Bangladesh lost their skipper Shakib Al Hasan with 87 run (15-4's) and went 341/7. Then lost their 8th wicket Shahadat Hossain at 88.6 overs with 13 runs(3-4's) and Bangladesh went 362/8. Shafiul Islam and Muhamudullah added 40 runs in their partnership and at 95.4 overs Bangladesh lost their 9th wicket Muhamudullah with 115 runs(17-4's & 2-6's) and went 402/9. Then lost their last wicket Rubel Hossain at 97.3 overs with 0 run. 


At the end of their innings Bangladesh scored 408 runs and still 148 runs behind New Zealand. For New Zealand C Martin & D Vettori picked 3 wickets, D Tuffey 2 wickets and T Southee 1 wicket.

New Zealand started their 2nd innings with B Watling and T McIntosh and leading by 148 runs. Bangladesh fielders done a great job to send B Watling back to pavilion with just 1 runs at 1.5 overs. At the end of Day 3's play New Zealand were 9/1 in 5 overs with T McIntosh 5* & P Ingram 2* and leading the 2nd innings by 157 runs.

India vs South Africa 2nd Test Match Day 3



At stumps of Day 2 India were 342/5 in 76 overs with VVS Laxman 9* and A Mishra 1* by leading the innings by 46 runs. Indian batsmen VVS Laxman and MS Dhoni steeled the show who guide India to take 347 runs lead ahead of South Africa.
Day 3 Plays Summary:
India reached the mark of 350 runs at 76.6 overs. VVS Laxman and A Mishra pair added 48 runs in their partnership and at 87.4 overs India lost their 6th wicket A Mishra with 28 runs and went 384/6. At drinks break India were 384/6 in 89 overs with VVS Laxman 21* and MS Dhoni 0*. After drinks India reached the mark of 400 runs in 93.5 overs then at lunch break India were 431/6 in 102 overs with Laxman 39* and MS Dhoni 27*.

After lunch break 50 runs came in the partnership of Laxman and Dhoni. Then Laxman got his half century off 107 balls with 9-4's. Then Dhoni got his 50 off 77 balls with 7-4's & 1-6. At drinks break India were 493/6 in 117 overs with Laxman 66* and Dhoni 62*.  After drinks India reached the mark of 500 runs in 118.4 overs. Then 150 runs came in their partnership off 233 balls Laxman contributing 68 and Dhoni 80 runs. 

At tea break India were 548/6 in 132 overs with Laxman 97* and Dhoni 85*.  After lunch break VVS Laxman got his century off 203 balls and 200 runs came between their partnership off 319 balls. Then Dhoni got his century off 158 balls. 

 At 145.5 overs India reached the mark of 600 runs. Then at drinks break India were 618/6 in 148 overs with Laxman 136* and Dhoni 116*. After drinks 250 runs came between their partnership in 382 balls. Then India declared their 1st innings when they were 643/6 in 153 overs with Laxman 143* and MS Dhoni 132* runs and remained not out and leading the innings by 347 runs. For South Africa M Morkel picked 2 wickets, D Styen, P Harris and JP Duminy each took 1 wicket.

With trail by 347 runs South Africa started their 2nd innings with G Smith and A Petersen. After bowling just 5 balls umpires decide to stop the day 3's play due to bad light. At stumps of Day 3 South Africa were 6/0 with Smith 5* & A Petersen 1* and still trailing by 341 runs.How will a pulp result?

New Zealand vs Bangladesh 1st Test Match Day - 2



At stumps of Day 1 New Zealand were 258/5 in 68.1 overs with M Guptil 80* and B McCullum 58*. Due to bad light yesterday's play was suspended twice. That's the reason behind restriction of Day 1's play to 68 overs.

Day 2 Plays Summary:
M Guptil and B McCullum continued their brilliant innings to take New Zealand to a mark of 500+ runs. 300 runs came for Kiwis in 80.2 overs. After bowling 3 balls new ball as been taken. Then Martin Guptil reached his century off 188 balls with 12-4's. 150 runs partnership came between Guptil and McMullum off 240 balls. B McCullum too got his century off just 138 balls with 12-4's & 1-6. At drinks break New Zealand were 342/5 in 88 overs. After drinks New Zealand reached the mark of 400 runs at 99.1 overs and 200 runs came in their partnership off 304 balls. Before lunch break both M Guptil & B McCullum managed to get thier 150 runs. Guptil got his 150 in 250 balls with 17-4's & 1-6 and B McCullum in 188 balls with 16-4's & 3-6's.

At lunch break New Zealand were 432/5 in 105 overs with Guptil 150* and McCullum 154*. 


Then 300 runs came in their partnership off 425 balls. At drinks New Zealand were 487/5 in 123 overs with Guptil 175* and McCullum 183*. After drinks New Zealand lost their 6th wicket McCullum with 185 runs off 272 balls with 17-4's & 3-6's at 125.4 overs and went 497/6. Then 500 runs came for New Zealand at 126.3 overs. Then lost their 7th wicket M Guptil with 189 runs off 310 balls with 18-4's & 1-6 at 129.6 overs and NZ went 525/7. Then D Tuffey and J Patel till their innings were declared at 135 overs when they were 553/7. For Bangladesh Rubel Hossain picked 5 wickets and Shafiul Islam & Shakib Al Hasan each picked 1 wicket.

With trailing by 553 runs Bangladesh started their innings with Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes. They played well and added 79 runs in their partnership and at 12.5 overs Bangladesh lost their 1st wicket Imrul Kayes with 28 runs and went 79/1. Then Tamim Iqbal scored his half century off just 39 balls with 10-4's. Even today the game was suspended once due to bad light at 14 overs when Bangladesh were 83/1. Then game resumed and played till end of day 2. For New Zealand D Vettori picked 1 wicket. At stumps of Day 2 Bangladesh were 87/1 in 17 overs with Tamim Iqbal 56* and Junaid Siddique 3*.

India vs South Africa 2nd Test Matcch Day 2



On Day 1's play South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first, for South Africa it was all from two batsmen A Petersen and H Amla who scored 100 & 114 runs respectively. At the stumps of Day 1 South Africa were 266/9 in 81 overs with W Parnell 2* and M Morkel 3*.  Today they both resumed South Africa's 1st innings. 

Day 2 Plays Summary:
Both W Parnell and M Morkel managed to add 30 runs on Day 2's play. At 85 overs South Africa lost their last wicket W Parnell with 12 runs and South Africa scored 296 runs. For India Z Khan took the last wicket. Altogether Z Khan took 4 wickets, Harbhajan Singh took 3 wickets and I Sharma & A Mishra each took 1 wicket.

Trailing by 296 runs India started their innings with G Gambhir and V Sehwag. For India 50 runs came in 7.1 overs and Gambhir and Sehwag added 73 runs in their partnership and at 9.2 overs India lost their 1st wicket G Gambhir with 25 runs and went 73/1. Before lunch Sehwag got his 50 runs off just 41 balls with 8-4's & 1-6. Then India lost their 2nd wicket M Vijay with just 7 runs at 12.4 overs and went 82/2. At lunch break India were 97/2 in 18 overs with Sehwag 52* and Sachin 9*. 

After lunch break 100 runs came for India in 19.3 overs. Then 150 came in 28.5 overs and at drinks break India were 171/2 in 32 overs with Sehwag 90* and Sachin 43*. After that Sehwag got his century off 132 balls with 16-4's & 2-6's. Sachin scored 50 runs off 79 balls with 7-4's. Then 100 runs of partnership came between Sehwag and Sachin. 200 runs came at 37.6 overs. At tea break India were 232/2 in 45 overs with Sehwag 125* and Sachin 65*. After tea 200 runs came between their partnership in 288 balls. Then at drinks India were 286/2 in 59 overs with Sehwag 143* and Sachin 87*.  After drinks Sehwag registered the mak of 150 runs in 160 balls with 21-4's & 2-6's. 

Then India reached the mark off 300 in 62.6 overs. Sachin got his 47 test ton off 194 balls with 12-4's. Before the end of days play India lost another 3 wickets. 3rd wicket was Sehwag with 165 runs at 70.2 overs and India were 331/3. 4th wicket was Sachin with 106 runs at 71.5 overs and India were 335/4. Their 5th wicket was Badrinath with 1 run at 74.6 overs and India were 336/5. At stumps of Day 2 India were 342/5 in 76 overs with VVS Laxman 9* and A Mishra 1* and leading the innings by 46 runs. For South Africa D Styen, M Morkel, P Harris & JP Duminy each took 1 wicket.
