Idea Cup Tri-Nation tournament his beign played in Bangladesh between Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka. In the first match against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka won their 1st match, the 2nd match was between India and Sri Lanka in that too Sri Lanka the match and led the points table with 8pts.

Bangladesh started their innings with Tamim Iqbal and I Kayes, they oth batted very well. 50 runs came for Bangladesh in 7.4 overs and Tamim Iqbal got his half century off just 33 balls, not only the openers ut also the middel order batsmen too played very well which helped Bangladesh to put 296 runs on their board by losing 6 wickets..

For Bangladesh I Kayes scored 70 runs off 100 balls, Tamim Iqbal 60 runs off 42 balls and Mahmudullah 60 runs off 45 balls. For India Jadeja, Nehra, Sreesanth, Harbhajan, Yuvraj each took 1 wicket.

With the target of 297 runs India started their innings with Gambhir and Sehwag. But initially India went in a serious trouble by losing 3 wickets in 8.1 overs by scoring 51 runs. But after that its was brilliant work by Kohli and Dhoni with their bat who added 152 runs in their Partnership.

When Kohli was with 91 runs he went out at 34.6 overs and India were 203/4. Then Raina paired up with Dhoni and brought the victory for India in 47.3 overs. They both got 94 runs in their partnership and Dhoni got his 7th century off 107 balls. Raina too got his half century off 43 balls. At the end off 47.3 overs India managed to score 297 runs and to win the match by 6 wickets.. For India Dhoni scored 101 runs, Kohli 91 runs and Raina 51 runs. For Bangladesh Rasel, Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan each took 1 wicket.
