The finals of the Idea Cup Tri-Nation Tournament held today 13th Jan between India and Sri Lanka at Mirpur.
Sri Lanka won the toss and invited India to bat first.

The 6th and final league match of the Idea Cup Tri-Nation Tournament between Bangladesh and India held today Jan 11th at Mirpur. Since India and Sri Lanka had already qualified for the final match, the played their last league match.
India won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.

Idea Cup Tri-Nation tournament his beign played in Bangladesh between Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka. In the first match against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka won their 1st match, the 2nd match was between India and Sri Lanka in that too Sri Lanka the match and led the points table with 8pts.
The 3rd match was played between Bangladesh and India at Mirpur. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Australia vs Pakistan 2nd Test Match, Day 3
At the stumps of Day 2's play Pakistan were 331/9 in 96 overs with Danish Kaneria 2* and Mohammad Asif 0* and 104 runs ahead of Australia.
In Day 3's play Pakistan added just 2 runs to their board and lost their last wicket Danish Kaneria with 4runs at 96.5 overs and Pakistan ended their 1st innings as 333 in 96.5 overs. For Australia Bollinger took 4 wickets, Johnson & Watson each took 2 wickets and Siddle & Hauritz each took 1 wicket.
With trailing by 106 runs Australia started their 2nd innings with S Watson and P Hughes. The opening pair played very well, 50 runs came for Australia in 16.6 overs and Watson got his 50 off 100 balls with 6-4's & 1-6's. At lunch break Australia were 86/0 in 29 overs with Watson 51* and Hughes 31*. Then 100 runs came for Australia in 30.6 overs. Danish Kaneria came with the ball to give the 1st break through and got Hughes wicket, who went out with 37 runs at 31.6 overs and Australia went 105/1. Then Australia lost their 2nd wicket Ponting with just 11 runs at 41.2 overs and Australia went 144/2. At drinks Australia were 149/2 in 43 overs with Watson 92* and M Hussey 4*. After drinks break 150 came for Australia in 43.2 overs. And it happened again to S Watson who missed his Century this time too, he missed it by just 3 runs short for it. He was the 3rd wicket with 97 runs at 45.5 overs and Australia went 159/3. At tea break Australia were 199/3 in 56 overs with M Hussey 34* and M Clarke 17*. After tea 200 runs came for Australia in 56.6 overs . Then Australia lost their 4th wicket M Clarke with 21 runs at 61.5 overs and Aus went 217/ 4. M Hussey got his half century off 77 balls and Australia lost their 5th wicket M North with just 2 runs at 66.1 and Australia went 226/5. At drinks Australia were 227/5 in 68 overs with Hussey 52* and Haddin 1*. Then Australia lost their 6th wicket Haddin with 15 runs at 74.6 overs and went 246/6. 250 came for Australia in 75.3 overs, before drinks Australia lost another wicket Johnson with 3 runs at 76.3 overs and Aus went 252/7. At drinks break Australia were 256/7 in 78 overs with Hussey 59* and Hauritz 3*. Their 8th wicket was Hauritz with 4 runs at 79.2 overs. Hussey and Siddle paired up and played till the end of Day 3's play. For Pakistan Danish Kaneria took 4 wickets, Umar Gul took 3 wickets and Asif 1 wicket. At the stumps of Day 3 Australia were 286/8 in 87 overs with Hussey 73* and Siddle 10* and leading the 2nd innings by 80 runs.

Australia vs Pakistan 2nd Test Match, Day 2
At Day 1's play Australia scored 127 runs in 44.2 overs and lost all their wickets, with the trail of 127 runs Pakistan started their 1st innings with Imran Farhat and Salman Butt. At the end of day 1's play Pakistan were 14/0 with Imran Farhat 9* and Salman Butt 3*.
In 2nd day's play Pakistan batsmen came well with bat and the opening partnership scored 109 runs. At lunch break Pakistan were 84/0 in 38 overs with Imran Farhat 34* & Salman Butt 26*, 100 runs came for Pakistan in 41.3 overs the first break through was given by N Hauritz who took Imran Farhat's wicket at 42.3 overs and Pakistan went 109/1, Imran Farhat scored 53 runs. At drinks break Pakistan were 138/1 in 54 overs with Salman Butt 67* & Faisal Iqbal 7*. After drinks Pakistan lost their 2nd wicket Salman Butt with 71 runs at 56.6 overs and Pakistan went 144/2. Then 150 came for Pakistan in 59.5 overs. At tea break Pakistan were 190/2 in 66 overs with Faisal Iqbal 24* & Mohammad Yousuf 27*. In their Partnership almost 60 runs came and 200 runs came for Pakistan in 69.5 overs. Their 3rd wicket was Faisal Iqbal with 27 runs at 70.5 overs and Pakistan went 205/3. Their 4th wicket was Mohammad Yousuf with 46 runs at 74.6 overs and Pakistan went 237/4. Then 250 came for Pakistan in 77.2 overs. At drinks break Pakistan were 256/4 in 78 overs with Umar Akmal 33* & Misbah-ul-Haq 8*. Before reaching 300 mark Pakistan lost 3 wickets, 5th wicket was Umar Akmal who went out with 1 run short off his half century with 49 runs at 84.3 overs and Pakistan went 277/5. Their 6th wicket was Misbah-ul-Haq with 11 runs at 86.1 overs and Pakistan went 286/6 and their 7th wicket was Kamran Akmal with 14 runs at 88.1 overs and Pakistan went 295/7. Then 300 runs came for Pakistan in 88.6 overs. Then lost their 8th wicket Umar Gul with 12 runs at 93.5 overs and Pak went 323/8 and their 9th wicket was Mohammad Sami with 13 runs at 95.2 overs. For Australia D Bollinger took 3 wickets, M Johnson & S Watson each took 2 wickets and P Siddle & N Hauritz each took 1 wicket. At the end of Day 2's play Pakistan were 331/9 in 96 overs with Danish Kaneria 2* and Mohammad Asif 0*. And Pakistan are 204 runs ahead.

Australia vs Pakistan 2nd Test Match, Day 1
The 2nd test match between Australia and Pakistan started today at Sydney Cricket ground and it will be played till Jan 7th.
Australia won the toss and elected to bat first.
Australia's Squad:
S Watson, P Hughes, R Ponting, M Hussey, M Clarke, M North, B Haddin, M Johnson, N Hauritz, D Bolinger and P Siddle.
Pakistan's Squad:
Imran Farhat, Salman Butt, Faisal Iqbal, Mohammad Yousuf, Umar Akmal, Misbah-ul-Haq, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Sami, Mohammad Asif, Umar Gul and Danish Kaneria.

Day 1's Play:
The match was delayed due to rain and started only after the lunch. S Watson and P Hughes entered the field to start Australia's 1st innings, but Mohammad Sami came well with ball and dismissed top 3 wickets of Australia. Australia's 1st wicket was P Hughes who went out without scoring any runs at 3.4 overs and Aus were 2/1, in the every next ball 3.5 overs Sami dismissed the Australian Skipper R Ponting who also went out without scoring any runs and the 3rd wicket of Australia was S Watson with 6 runs in 7.6 overs and Aus went 10/3. At drinks break Australia were 25/3 in 14 overs with M Hussey 13 runs and M Clarke 3 runs. After drinks break Mohammad Asif gave another break through by taking M Clarke's wicket at 17.2 overs and Australia went 36/4. Then 50 came for Australia in 20.5 overs. At 21.5 overs Australia lost their 5th wicket M Hussey with 28 runs and went 51/5 and in the very next ball 21.6 Australia lost their 6th wicket M North with 10 runs and went 51/6. Again it was Mohammad Asif who took the Australia's 7th wicket B Haddin with 6 runs at 25.1 overs. At drinks break Australia were 67/7 in 27 overs with M Johnson 7runs and N Haurtiz 2 runs, after drinks break again rain delayed the match. Then 100 runs came for Australia in 36.5 overs between M Johnson and N Hauritz partnership. Australia lost their 8th wicket N Hauritz with 21 runs at 37.4 overs and Aus went 106/8. Before drinks break Australia lost their 9th wicket M Johnson with 38 runs at 39.5 overs and went 117/9. After drinks they lost their last wicket D Bollinger with 9 runs and Australia managed to put only 127 runs on board and P Siddle remained not out with 1 run. For Pakistan Mohammad Asif took 6 wickets for 41 runs, Mohammad sami took 3 wickets for 27 runs and Umar Gul took 1 wicket.
With the trail of 127 runs Pakistan started their 1st innings with Imran Farhat and SalmanButt, when Pakistan were 14 for no loss match was stopped due to bad light.
